Hotel Avisa - Karlsruhe

The breakfast options were good every morning.

I found the bathroom lacked a plug in the basin. The check-in process via machine felt impersonal, as there was no staff available to assist. The noise from the kitchen early in the morning disrupted sleep, disappointing .

The hotel also was next to a train station. The staff were very welcoming and friendly at all times. There was excellent breakfasts with unusual cheeses and delicious options: )

Sensational breakfast, functional double room. Nice bathroom and a bathtub with good sewerage...

The location was perfect near the zoo. The TV kept turning itself off .

Meals from the kitchen started early and could disrupt sleep. Despite this, the charm of the breakfast room and overall cleanliness stood out. The free mini-bar was an unexpected delight that added to the experience. I recommend avoiding rooms near the kitchen for a quieter stay.

The hotel was perfect for our stay with the kids. We enjoyed exploring the area, especially the nearby parks, which the kids loved. The breakfast was excellent, with fresh options, made mornings good. We appreciated the free minibar, a nice touch!

My wife says that a small play area for kids would make the experience even better.

Solo travelers will love it

The staff was super friendly, really went out of their way to help us. The automated key pickup system was smooth, real slick. Our room had this cool sloped ceiling and though it was a bit of a head-banger, it totally added character. The view of the zoo from our top-floor window was just lovely. Plus, the breakfast buffet, man, it was a solid deal with plenty of options like fresh fruits and good coffee.

It wasn't overpriced but on the higher side, just fyi.

Wi-Fi was reliable, tv worked great. No smoking allowed, which I liked.
